A Letter from the Chief

Welcome to the Bolingbrook Police Department’s homepage.  Our department is constantly striving to find different methods of communicating with the community.  While verbally communicating with those we serve is still one of the most efficient ways to resolve issues and answer questions, the World Wide Web is an appropriate way of participating in an exchange of information and ideas.

We recognize that the Bolingbrook Police Department must engage those we serve through a mutual community partnership.  Though we support the traditional law enforcement methods of responding to calls for service, investigation of crimes and making arrests, these by themselves will not reverse crime and its' debilitating effects on our community.  When a community and their police department work together, they are a force to be dealt with against those whose intentions are less than admirable.

I want to thank you for visiting the Bolingbrook Police Department’s web page.  I welcome comments and suggestions from our Bolingbrook residents and other visitors.  Your input assists us in meeting the goals and objectives of our mission statement.

Feel free to email me directly at:

I can also be reached by calling: (630) 226-8600.

Raymond J. McGury
Chief of Police
