Fire and Rescue Services
The Bolingbrook Fire Department is a full time department providing fire, rescue, and ambulance services on a 24 hour basis to the residents of the village.
The fire department has an Insurance Service Office protection rating of 3. ISO rates the fire protection service provided to local communities . The ratings are from 1 - 10, with 1 being the best. Currently, there are only 5 ISO class 1 departments in Illinois. The Bolingbrook Fire Department continually strives to improve our ISO rating.
Fire department services are provided from 5 strategically located fire stations located throughout the village.
The department is currently staffed with 87 on shift personnel of which 3 are Battalion Chiefs, 13 are Lieutenant/EMT's, 59 are Firefighter Paramedics. The other 12 Firefighters are certified EMT's
This allows the fire department to provide emergency medical response with all fire apparatus.
