Board Actions 03.12.19
Village officials approved the following resolutions and ordinances:
1.) Resident Jose Rojas was appointed to the Arts Council Commission.
2.) The month of April was proclaimed as Child Abuse Prevention Month.
3.) The following tax bill information was approved:

- Nov. 2018 State Income Tax - $608,707.91 (9.18% increase)
- Dec. 2018 Sales Tax - $2,920,284.98 (2.3% increase)
- Dec. 2018 Motor Fuel Tax - $159,172.78 (4.1% decrease)
- Dec. 2018 State Administrative Fee - $23,587.37
4.) The April 23, 2019 Board Meeting has been rescheduled for April 30, 2019 due to the Easter holiday.
5.) Resolution (19R-007) was approved providing additional work for the King Road extension from Rodeo Drive to Hassert Boulevard. The additional work was the result of utility conflicts, onsite field conditions and to increase design requirements to meet IDOT standards for federally funded projects. The project will be started this year.
6.) Ordinance (19-016) was approved allowing the police department to enforce traffic laws and Village Ordinances such as parking offenses, overweight trucks and property maintenance at The Landings Shopping Center located at 137-149 and 153-161 N. Weber Road. This is the same agreement that the Village has with most retail centers and homeowners associations.
7.) Ordinance (19-017) was amended for Hetman restaurant, 195 Remington Blvd, decreasing their Class “D-2” (Full-Service Liquor) from seventeen (17) to sixteen (16) to reflect the closing. A new restaurant is looking to open this summer after renovations.
3) Ordinance (19-018) was approved establishing a New Class “D-7” Liquor License for CG's Comedy Club that is scheduled to open in Suite 125 at the Bolingbrook Promenade. The Class “D-7” liquor license provides for the “full service” of alcohol for use in conjunctions with the comedy club.
